The conference dinner will be held on the evening of the 22nd September 19:00 at “Le Train Bleu”. This traditionally French Gourmet restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Gare de Lyon.

Arriving by Plane
Paris city centre is easily accessible from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports using public transport. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, the RER B train provides a direct connection to central Paris stations including Gare du Nord, Châtelet–Les Halles and Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame, with journey times of around 35–45 minutes. From Orly Airport, travellers can use the Orlyval shuttle to connect with the RER B at Antony station or take Metro Line 14 directly into the city centre. Airport transport tickets to central Paris cost approximately €14 and can be purchased from station ticket machines or mobile transport apps. Taxis, airport buses and ride-share services are also available, although journey times can vary considerably depending on traffic conditions.
Arriving by train/Eurostar
Eurostar and other trains arrive at Paris Gare du Nord, which is located just north of the city centre and is very well connected to the Paris public transport network. From the station, travellers can easily reach central areas such as Châtelet, Saint-Michel, Montparnasse and the Latin Quarter using Metro lines 4 and 5 or the RER suburban rail network. Metro stations are located directly beneath the terminal and tickets can be purchased from machines or via the Bonjour RATP and Île-de-France Mobilités apps. Journey times into central Paris are typically between 10 and 20 minutes depending on the destination. Taxis and ride-share services are also available outside the station, although travel times may vary depending on traffic.
Getting to the Cordeliers Campus

These provide direct links across Paris and to major rail stations and airports. Multiple bus routes also serve the area, including the 27, 38, 58, 63 and 86. Tickets can be bought at station machines, via the Bonjour RATP or Île-de-France Mobilités apps, or loaded onto a reusable Navigo Easy card. Single adult Metro/RER tickets currently cost €2.55, while bus and tram tickets cost €2.05. There are also bike-sharing stations throughout the city which can be rented through the app Vélib'. It costs around €6 for 90 minutes.

There are a number of 3- and 4-star hotels within walking distance of the Cordeliers campus. As the venue is located in central Paris, accommodation in the immediate area can be relatively expensive; however, more affordable options may be available in neighbouring arrondissements or further from the city centre. The campus is well served by bus, train, and metro connections, making it easily accessible from many parts of the city.
