2026 Annual SRNT-E Conference

Our theme for 2026 is: “Advancing the tobacco endgame: science, policy and equity for a healthier future.”

Submissions for oral/poster/symposia presentations and preconference workshops must be received electronically and no later than 7th May, 2026, 23:59 CET (extended deadline) to be considered for inclusion in the program. Consider submitting your abstract earlier than this deadline: SRNT-E welcomes early submissions!

***Rapid response abstracts: We will be re-opening abstract submission for one week from 15th June 09.00 CET to the 21st June 23:59 CET. Due to the high number of abstracts submitted for the 7th of May deadline there are limited places in the programme, therefore we cannot guarantee acceptance.***

Registration

Registrations will be done online through Easy Conferences. Participants may pay instantly using their credit card (VISA/MASTERCARD), or by bank transfer. A one-stop-shop software is used for the whole registration process. The whole process is secure and is easy to complete.

Please note that the software provides participants with the possibility to complete the registration process in steps/periodically. The system will accept changes/updates up to closing of the online registration process (before start of the conference).

Current or past 5 year employees of the tobacco industry are not allowed to attend or present at the SRNT-E conference. Research that has been funded by the tobacco industry will also not be accepted. SRNT-E defines the tobacco industry as any manufacturer, marketer, distributor or importer of a tobacco product. Included in this definition are marketing/PR firms, legal firms, tobacco industry-sponsored advocacy groups, and private foundations that have received or continue to receive funding from the tobacco industry. E-cigarette or other companies that are wholly or partially owned by the tobacco industry are also considered part of the tobacco industry. However, e-cigarette or other companies that do not have any affiliation with the tobacco industry are allowed to participate. Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest related to the tobacco, nicotine or pharmaceutical industry will be required for presentations. It will remain under the discretion of the SRNT-E board to assess if a conflict of interest is prohibitive.

Notes:

• At least one author for each paper must register and pay by July 31st, 2026 to be included in the conference program.
• Registration Fees are inclusive of access to the preconference workshops on 21st Sept, access to the conference session, conference materials, daily coffee breaks and light lunches and the Conference Evening Reception on the 21th Sept. 
• *Conference Dinner will take place on the 22nd Sept and is only included in FULL Registration Fees (available in the registration system).
• One Day Fee is inclusive of one day access coffee breaks and light lunch. Conference Reception and Conference Dinner are not included in this fee.
• **Student in training Registration: In order to be accepted with the student fee, valid documentation proving registered student status (student's ID Card or a letter from the Head of Department/Director of Doctoral School prepared on the notepaper of the institution) should be sent to: info@easyconferences.eu
